If you or any of your relatives, friends, or loved ones have used the services of the Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) for the purpose of receiving the Emergency Repair Program (ERP), then please pay attention to this. The Community Programs Division (CPD) of the Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) intimidates elderly Tennessee citizens with threats of violence and other coercive methods if these impoverished elderly citizens do not comply with the demands of the CPD. Besides this, the CPD engages in myriad questionable practices that need to be uncloaked. I have been a newspaper reporter since the 1990s along with being a professor at the University of Tennessee. New news on two more people he cut their converters off as well. Justin miller of custom exhaust and transmission on ruby ave does not have license or insurance. He is cutting off catalytic converters without permission of the vehicle owner and selling them. They wanted a key switch put in and ended up without a converter and a seven dollar muffler put back on their car. I don't want anyone else to be taken by a scammer be aware of Justin miller on ruby ave in elizabethton. Ask him for his business license and insurance see what he says. Stealing converters and selling them is no doubt a one way ticket to jail. Hopefully

If you have had any dealings with this boy let me know. I hope he has done somebody right. He will be getting a letter from the better business bureau hope he has a business license number and insurance policy number to provide to them.

If you go to millers trans and mufflers on ruby ave in elizabethton be prepared to be taken. He will not provide receipts for parts or labor he will cut of your catalytic converter without permission and sell it. He will put a $40.00 dollar straight pipe muffler on your truck and pocket the money out of the converter. He has done this to two people I know of hard telling how many he has done this to.we paid for parts that were not put on our truck I guess he kept them or put them on another vehicle. He had our truck for a month and we are out $2,000.00 dollars and had to have our truck towed home. Truck still not running. I'm sure he is not licensed or insured. He is a crook and we thought we could trust him. He asks for part money every week and asked for labor pay every week. He is a scammer I am turning him in to the better business bureau today. I don't won't anyone else to go through what we have been through this past month. This is a FYI stay away from millers transmission and exhaust on ruby ave in elizabethton.

I worked with Dr. Digby for many years. He’s an extremely competent surgeon and a great person as well. People do have complications from surgery that are out of anyone’s hands. That’s a thing with surgery. If you have a need for it, you’re more at risk for complications. I can think of many more surgeons that should actually be out of practice. Dr. Digby is NOT on of them.

Return of the Hoplands to Elizabethton, we all need to be concerned this is a way of the rich to get their way. How can they return home without going to a holding facility to make sure they are free from Corona. We have to all be concerned. She came in in the middle of the night, and he is to follow. Hopefully they are virus free but what if they aren't? We have to think of our family. They are doctors they should know this. I am disgusted by the selfishness they are showing. I hope all will be well. Money is not always a good thing, I can't afford a trip to China thank the good Lord.

This is a scary time for everyone. I really hope they both are free of the virus. Dr. hopland and all his sons are doctors. How many people do they see a day? If we have a outbreak here we know who to blame. I think it is very selfish on their parts to come back here like nothing's wrong, and put Carter county in danger. I am sorry for what they have been through, but it was their decision to go to China in the first place. I know I can't afford such a vacation. I hope they are well, but if they aren't this is not a fair thing to do to their patients. how are they coming straight back from a Chinese hospital to the tri cities. Let me guess cash money.

I was born and raised in Elizabethton, I now live away. All I have heard recently is Dr. Digby’s botched surgeries. I know of many people that have went to him for general surgery (Gallbladder, colon resection, minor and major surgeries) that have either died or come close to dying. Patients that have gotten infections that have caused more problems than the need for surgeries caused. My question is how many people have to die or become disabled and go through all this hell he is causing for something is done. He needs to have his license revoked and never be allowed to practice message every again.
